Gamma setings on 89C2

Gamma setings on 89C2

There is no info on Gamma settings in the user manual of 89C2 monitor. In the gama setting there is just a number(select:1 or 2 or 3 or 4 and so on) incredible many gamma opportunities which seems random, and no indication of what they are.

I have mailed to manhattanlcd about it but no reply.

Im using it now whith gh2 and will soon be using with red one.
Anyone has any knowledge on this?
Would appreciate some official info from Manhattan.

What hdmi colorspace is the right one for gh2? And for the red?

I'm looking at the HD5 to pair with my HPX171. Does peaking and all other function work over component input? And hence I can't get one in my hands to review I would appreciate if somebody could describe the picture. Is it a ISP or PVA panel?

I really can't find any reviews regarding the HD5 or his 8.9" big brother HD089C2 720p model. To they use the same panel? I would appreciate any info:)
 
Can anyone help me understand where the tekkon battery would attach to the camera? And can I use the tekkon batter to power the entire camera? Or would it just power the monitor?

I won't have rails at first, does this mean that I cant attach the tekkon battery?

I do not want to say anything bad about this guy/company because I may purchase one set from him. However, he promised me a set of these if I test his beta version. He sent me the beta version. I tested. I emailed him with all my suggestions, plus photos of all the things I think need fixes on, and I've never heard from him again. I've sent him emails regarding our deal, and he just never responds to me. I still have those conversation/emails in this forum's inbox and also at my personal email account. The beta was okay but it was plastic, and it does not seem to last long. If you're doing a run and gun with fast moving situations, the battery might fall off. However, I have not seen or use the production version.

When I start recording with 5D,
Does HD089C change aspect automaticaliy ?

i write some emails be cause i nees support to upgrade firmware of old 89b, but nothing.
anyone can help me?
i reiceved from jreed cable scheme, software and firmware
i build cable with ttl and vga, i connected to a seven and xp computer, installed driver, follow instructions, click on flash button, turn on monitor, but software updater still in "waiting device", not start update firmware.
i admit that i procrastinate update for years, but now i need to update to use it with blackmagic.
any help iwill be appreciated.

Their website appears to be still active, although all of their monitors are now no longer available on BHPhoto.

I have one of their more recent Manhattan LCD monitor and I have to say I am glad I've switched over to SmallHD because they are miles ahead of whatever Manhattan LCD has to offer.

I'm in the same situation as you...
Software is still "waiting to target to reset" and nothing happens...
Dis you get a solution?
