The Nikon D5 is rumored to have a native high ISO of 102,400 and 4k video

Sort of like Gareth Bale then ... but one must have some use for that asset along the way or it'll truly be a luxury purchase.
I'm not a football fan, but I will acknowledge that this was a nice shot XD

There are three approaches to value:

1. Comparable sales. The average price of similar things for sale on the market right now. For example, how much your camera is going for on eBay.

2. Replacement. The cost to replace it if it broke. May be way different than what you paid if your item is not for sale anywhere. You have to buy the most similar item for sale now.

3. Income potential. How much money you think the item will bring you as you keep it. This is the approach you should use to decide whether to buy a new camera when the camera you already own is still working fine.
