The most disturbing movies ever!

Would have been 'nicer' to also have a printed 'list'... Can't say that I've seen the first two movies (all I had time to watch this morning...).

But I have bought several collection DVD's of 'horror direct to DVD' type films, and they seem to be of similar quality.

One of these days I'll make something similar... we all can't aspire to greatness...

There is a printed list below the video if you go to youtube.

Snuff 102 (2007)
In A Glass Cage (1987)
Mum & Dad (2008)

Imprint (2005)
Come and See (1985)
Niku Daruma (1998)
Tetsuo (1989)
Angst (1983)
The Skin I Live In (2011)

Unfortunately I' ve seen too few of these movies but here's my take on them. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to watch them, there are real gems in this list. From the full list in the youtube video description (there might be spoilers):

Antichrist - Not really my cup of tea, nice cinematography and effects but you don't really wanna see a woman cutting of her genital parts. Enough said.

Martyr's - One of the best thriller movies of the last decade. Must see.

Audition - Pretty ok movie.

A Clockwork Orange - Need I say anything?

Irreversible - Dizzying titles. Bellucci gets raped, angry husband (Cassel) smashes raper's face with a fire extinguisher. Dizzying titles. The end. Next!

Dogtooth - Great movie. Academy nominated for best foreign feature.

Funny Games - Haneke at his finest. What a shocking movie! Glad I' ve watched it. Don't wanna go through it again.

Happiness - Great black comedy! A really fine movie.

Requiem for a dream - Liked it when I first saw it, interesting cinematography, nice acting but overall one of Aronofsky's weakest films. However I think with Noe it's going to come up in that list.

Henry - Portrait of a serial killer - Seriously good movie, must see.

Snowtown and Kill List which is later in that list are two of the best movies of 2011. Really enticing each in their own way. I recommend both.

The skin I live in - Not bad.

I regret not having seen Eraserhead, Pink Flamingos and Come and See which I've heard so many good things about. Actually I read a review for Come and See in this forum. So, although there are some s*%tty movies in this list such as Human Centipede there are others that are great. And that's from someone who's seen less than half of them.

I submit "Nekromantic." Guy and his girlfriend steal corpse, fit piece of metal pipe to his/its rotted weiner so girl can sex it up nice and juicy, woman falls in love with corpse, absconds with it and leaves living guy alone, guys stabs self in stomach while masturbating, ejaculates blood. Watched it with gramma and the young nieces over Christmas. That was a joke.

what a coincidence, I just sat down to watch the final episode of the Masters of Horror: Episode 13: Imprint - Takashi Miike , and it's the one with that girl handing upside down as seen in the thumbnail of that YouTube video. lol

Disturbing or shocking? or just disgusting? If we're ignoring slasher type of movies that just rely on blood and effects, there are some really good movies out there that can get in your head. The first example that comes to mind is the German film "Das Experiment" which is loosely based on the Stanford Prison Experiment. There's little gore in the movie at all, and not even that much violence, but the film is well crafted to make you really wonder what ordinary people are capable of doing in the wrong circumstances.
