The most annoying performance

(I'd put Gene Hackman, DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins and a couple others in that group)..
I'm with you but lately DeNiro has been something of a caricature of himself.

I have never gotten the Julia Robert's thing (And she's fugly). She must have hit every branch on the Ugly Tree.

Speaking of annoying ?

How about the entire cast of Oceans 12 ?

I cant even remember if I responded with a most annoying performance in this thread, its been around so long :) but I can tell you what performance I fear the most. I may be pelted with hot lava rocks for this, but I'm afraid of Harrison Ford in the next installment of Indiana Jones. My hopes are high, but my fear runs deep.

If he PLAYS Indie as an older character and the story is built around that, it could actually be quite interesting.

Scanned this whole thread and didn't see one of the all time worst:
Michelle Rodriguez...

yeah i really hate her acting too... i'm a LOST fanatic and i just can't stand it when she's on screen.... her acting seems abnormal to me.

You said it. The only time I ever saw her looking halfway decent was in a very old Miami Vice episode when she was a nobody. She was probably around 22 at the time.

Other than that ... yeesh!

For some damn reason most people just can't resist her.

I remember the first time I saw her. Scared the hell out of me, she looked just like Eric Roberts.

Awww...Adrian Brody in The Village.
GOD I wanted to punch him in his Sprite Remix loving face and break anything I can.
I'm pretty sure all he did to research that role was order What's Eating Gilbert Grape from ON DEMAND.

Hmmmm... for me pretty much anything Antonio Banderas does... he mumbles so freaking much. I can never understand a freaking word he's saying. I have to put the captions on....

Like Eric Roberts with pseudo-boobs...

I did like her in Notting Hill though, but not because I thought she was "hot".

But wait there's more...how can I possibly forget Keanu Reeves AND Wynona Rider in Coppola's Dracula. Not just one dreadful performance and horrible British (not!) accent, but two!!!!!

Hey you know, I've ALWAYS thought the same thing about Wynona Rider. I think shes hot, hot, hot, but there was a time there that she kept doing period pieces with terrible accents. I couldn't figure it out. Little Women, Age of Innocence, Dracula...

bringing back the thread...

Evangeline Lilly in LOST
Rosario Dawson in Alexander (along with the rest of the cast even though I'm a Colin Farrell fan)
Clive Owen in Closer
Hayden Christensen in everything he's done
Anna Paquin in the X-Men movies
Julianne Moore in Evolution (ironically that's the one movie I can tolerate Sean William Scott)
Kate Bosworth in everything she's done
Amanda Peet (I can ALMOST tolerate her in Studio 60)
Katie Holmes in Thank You For Smoking
Heath Ledger AND Jake Gyllenhal in Brokeback Mountain (not cause of the storyline, because of the acting)
Steve Martin in the past few years (with the exception of Shopgirl)
Ray Romano (the guy just ain't funny)

there's more I'll post as I think of them

Depp in "Charlie and the chocolate factory" nauseating.

Any actor that plays mentally challenged other than Hoffman and Dicaprio (Penn, Ribisi, Juliette Lewis, Brody, the kid from Gili, Rosie O'Donnell (maybe the highest rating on the unintentional comedy scale) and many many more)

And any number of Robin Williams cornball comedies, although I like his dramatic work.
