The most annoying performance

I would have to say Jean-Claude Van Damme...in everything he's ever done. He shouldn't be given any dialogue because he's so bad at acting. They should just tell him to do splits, kick people in the head, and kiss the girl in the end. That's about all he's qualified to do.

Ahh, yes. Jean-Claude. Whew.

Jackie Chan is bad too, but he gets away with it because he's so likable and he doesn't take himself so seriously.

He could probably open up a Chan-can of whoop-hiney on Jean-Claude too. Course, he'd need a shopping cart and bag of Doritos.

Chuck Norris anyone? Pauly Shore, Julia Stiles, Julia Roberts (especially in Pretty Woman, I thought she was AWFUL)....etc, etc, etc.

I mostly agree with you, But at least the man can dance.

I think you just got served.

Wow, we're 9 pages into this rant-fest and while extremely funny to read, is incomplete without:

Katie Holmes in Batman Begins. That was the only shitty part about the entire film, but it was enough to knock it down a peg or two. My folks watched it the other night, and even they notices how bad she was... and my dad's favorite movie is Water World!!!

-Adam Sandler. Cannot stand the guy.
-.

He's good when he doesn't do stupid voices. Seems rare

When he tries voices, like little Nicky, waterboy.. I want him dead.

Ben Stiller - AGREED
Fran Dresser - AGREED
and for the same reason (can't STAND the voice)

Woody Allen
Jerry Seinfeld

Also can't stand Tom Cruise in ANYTHING, hated Mike Meyers in Austin Powers & Cat in the Hat, and detested almost all early Bruce Willis movies (he has improved with age).

yes pauly shore just pisses me off, david spade annoys me and next time i see him i'm going to stomp him to the ground.......no i wouldn't do that

Penelope Cruz. I can´t believe how she EVER crossed the pond. Doesn´t smile. Doesn´t make jokes. Worst annoying voice i heard in my life (would give nightmares to Freddy) and her poo poo diva attitude.

Sahara just confirmed it. In the car. " can you throw? YeeeaaaAAha!!

Jenifer Garner as elektra.

John- I could KILL you for starting this thread. Just skimming everyone elses responses, I am going into sensory overload here.

I could spend ALL day listing this; and I know this is 'annoying performances' not annoying actors but some actors are annoying in EVERYTHING. Pauly Shore. Ben Affleck. Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lopez (though I'd eat 5 day old tuna off her ass), Keanu Reeves (though his charisma sort of makes up for it), Tom Cruise with the "Im handsome" face he always makes towards the camera....

Adam Sandler in "LITTLE NICKY". Breckin Meyer in everything.

Someone mentioned Julia Roberts. You can have that opinion. Personally I don't think she belongs on this list. I find her so hot and irresitibly charming that I couldn't hate her if I tried. In fact, I think I love her. We'd be great together. Maybe I should send her an email...you know...strike up a dialogue....

The next few I am almost reluctant to mention. These are classic actors. These actors...well it's a little sacreligious to criticize these guys but I cannot help it. I am just speaking my honest mind here. These guys were once great but began to develop annoying traits in their acting; Jack Lemmon in most anything he did the last 20 years...(he developed a very bumbly delivery). Dustin Hoffman...he should watch himself in Kramer vs. Kramer. Where did HE go? He tries too hard to shapeshift. I miss the old him. And, Al Pacino has developed a voice that sounds like he has substituted his favorite throat lozenge with a razor blade. Burt Lancaster in everything. Talk about OVER rated. He was terrible.

Oh man, I can go on and on and on and on. But I gotta get back to work.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Chris Tucker yet. They guy has even ruined films he's never been in just by his proximity to the studio lot.

Amen to that. He's annoying cubed.

Not only is he over the top in everything, but that nasal voice is piercing.

"Do you understand the overacting coming outta my mouth?!?!"

Keanu Reeves in everything but Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (which I've never seen - but seems perfect for his vacant delivery of EVERY line he's ever had.)

Jim Carrey. Ok, I never saw Man on the Moon; heard he was good playing Andy Kaufman. But I love Andy Kaufman and just couldn't bring myself to watch Ace Ventura playing him. I also didn't mind him too much in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Perhaps he should just stick with projects involving guys named Kaufman.

His comedies, however, make me want to gouge my eyes out.
