The Man from Earth

[ESTEBEVERDE]

Great Independent Film.

Not the best technically, not the best actors, but the story is fabulous and it is very nicely done on the whole.

Worth Checking Out.

Looks like at least some of it was shot on an HVX ?

Simple set. Awesome story. Wish there was more. 87 minutes when by way too fast. Loved Tony Todd's character. Anyone know if there is a book out there on this premise?

It's weird, a lot of people that I talk to seem to love this movie. I thought it was pretty bad. Mediocre on a technical standpoint, mediocre acting, and the story didn't do anything for me. I guess the premise was interesting but I didn't think they did much with it.

It's also very interesting to note that the only other film the director has made since then is Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies, a terribly bad rip-off of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter that went straight to DVD.
