What are your thoughts on the Los Angeles film school? Is there a film school that would be considered the best for your money? Let me know. Thanks everyone

I haven't really heard of any big time professionals who came from LA Film School. It is cheaper than other schools, because you finish in one years time instead of 3. For film school though, from my understanding the best place for you depends on what you would want to do. For example, I had wanted to go to USC because it was the "best", but after doing some research I realized that UCLA was more akin to the type of production that I was looking for. There is a book out there about Film Schools and what the pros and cons of each are...ill try to find the name of it for you.

i'd say most film schools are on par with each other. It really depends on the production aspect of the school. How much equipment is available etc. UCLA i've heard is pretty good, USC is over priced, but you get a lot of favoritism when it comes to internships and festivals, as much as everyone likes to deny it. But to be honest, anywhere you go you'll be paying too much.

I'd say you learn more working on a set then in school. Thus UCLA is probably your best bet, is cheaper, but still reknowned enough to get you into some internships where you can learn real stuff. Just don't go to UCI like me an Sal unless you want to focus on theory. haha
