The Los Angeles Film School

Hey guys. I got accepted to the LA Film School for this January of 2005. I live right outside of Philadelphia so it's a long way from home. By the time I get there I will have 25 short films and a feature length film with possibility of distribution. So the question is will they teach anything different than what I'm doing right now? Also has anybody gone to the LA Film school or is currently there that can give me some feedback about the whole curriculum. Thanks

Re: The Los Angeles Film School

Just in general...

(*) You'll be able to network with lots of people either in, or wanting-to-be in the business so that'll be cool.

(*) Since it's 'the' entertainment capitol, there are always lots of things going on (smaller festivals, lots of chances to work on sets in some capacity, etc, etc)

So anyway, just the people you'll meet and the environment you'll be in should be great even before considering what you'll pick up in school.

Congratulations and good luck! (and you can surf year round also  ;D)
