it does show some grain past F2.8. but apparently jonathan says it levels off there all the way to F8. problem here is wide lenses..... they tend to show the grain more because of the optics.
its tough to shoot a whole film on a 50 and an 85. my go35, satic adapter is a barrel of monkeys. so sharp, and NEARLY grainless at f1.4. at a 2.8 cant use it.

Not a fan of the bokeh. Looks like a smeary, undefined mess. Vignetting looks to be somewhat of an issue. Doesn't look any more sharp than a letus. Hard to judge fully, but still leaves something to be desired from what I can tell.

So much for legendary Nikon zooms (the stuff real legends are made of). Last static I used was Mtube. After a 4.0 it was useless - too much grain. Also ate light for lunch - at least two stops, before the lens.
