All in beautiful 320 x 240 if even that.

And ofcourse the C4D snapping settings go wonky so, manana. -Cheers.

//edit: Too many problems retropoing with C4D. Zbrush is more stable so I'll do the rest in there. I'll try and capture a better res of that.
If one can stand watching paint dry.

//glitch fixed.
Also increased the res a bit.
More watching paint dry...http://justin.tv/rottwiler/b/392247095

update:
After a 3rd attempt retopologizing with C4D and having too many software issues, I decided to redo it over with ZBrush.

(I don't spend that much time modelling anymore so excuse the long delays between posts.)

So, here I have a very lo poly (cubic mesh) for the veins of the wing, A high poly base mesh where the composite connects to the body and the retopo part (in light orange and wire) of the hipoly part so that I end up with a relatively lo poly base mesh of the whole piece.
When that's done I can begin sculpting it. (The veins really won't need any detail sculpting, just some tweaking and shaping.)

(And yes, having done it this way, I will be improving on my workflow the next time I try something similar. Live and learn right? )
