The Green Hornet Movie

[wannabeapilot]

i like seth rogen ,but this was a stupid choice

[Rick Meyer]

I know. I mean if they just absolutely had to make it tongue and cheek but still wanted a leading man to play the part they could have went with John Krasinski or James Franco. Though, its tough to say without seeing the script first.

I think Rogen is actually one of the folks writing it.

I think Rogen is actually one of the folks writing it.

Seth Rogen's early movies were all written by him. (i.e. Superbad, Pineapple Express) so if he's got a hand in writing this, it may be one redeeming quality.

[Sad Max]

Pineapple Express was a lot of fun but I don't think it's what I'd describe as well written...

[RandomHero]

I never said well written either, but I did enjoy watching every movie he's been in or had a hand in so far, so I honestly am a little more optimistic at this point if he's indeed helping with the writing. Not as a superhero movie, but just as a movie.

[Richard J. Johnson]

God I hate Pineapple Express.

Already a thread--

What he said, and why is this in the café section?

Ugh. Nevermind. The only reason I care is because I posted in the other thread and now no one's using it.

[RandomHero]

Well i searched before posting, it didn't show up, so I posted the trailer. I posted it in Cafe because I figured the conversation would stray from actual film discussion and go into the comic book movie realm (as a more general topic) quickly, which it did.
Wasn't meaning to stir up a 'Hornet's Nest'... (so bad, I know)

It's not Kato Kaelin, is it?
