The Germans are (not yet) coming - directors perspective.

I love the speed trains for travelling - but suicides are a problem at times. We will shoot a "fast one" - a bunch of actors/comedians, one house as a set, two cameras - mostly handheld, 17 days. Nervewrecking to direct but lot of fun, we hope.

I'll pass that on to the Travel Directrix... what you think I have any choice in these important matters...

I've been trying to schedule in a trip that starts in Berlin, runs down to Leipzig and Dresden, on to Prague, thence to Vienna... the Wife actually loves Vienna... but to get her to start in Berlin has been nearly impossible.
Even after I 'pitch' that Berlin has become a cultural center of art and all that...

Can´t believe it. Berlin has become one of the most hyped, the most beloved and the most wanted cities for artist and artlovers around the globe. The number of tourists (unfortunately) experiences double digit growth every year.

There is almost no young European under 30 which is not crazy about living in the capital of Germany. The Israelis are mad for Berlin and settling here, Hollywood is shooting one movie after another. The NYC and London people dream to breath the free spirit of Berlin.
