This is a "25th Anniversary edition" of a 20th Anniversary special. That's gotta be some kind of first.

Not sure why it gives the year 1975, though.

Anyway, the episode is a pretty freakin' good primer of the old show, if you wanted to gain a familiarity with it.

How are the optional updated special effects? I was just discussing those with a guy I work with who's a total purist and considered even having the option a personal affront.

Don't know. Haven't seen the new edition. Just came out yesterday.
