The Expendables 2

Look at that cast!! I heard they brought a new writer as well as director. I hope they can bring out the full potential of this... Day one again for me, even if I got disappointed with the first one...

Don't even care if its the worst movie of the decade...I grew up lovin' these action heroes. So happy to see these guys all in one kick-ass feature!

I wasn't really disappointed with TE. It was one of the more fun guy-movie action romps that's come out this decade, and it had a lot of star power in it without relying solely on that (they had gore too!). I saw it with some guys I knew and we all had a good time. It was over-the-top, it was corny, but it was fun.

This teaser looks... meh. Bruce, Jason and Sly are the only ones here who interest me, but the direction this teaser seems to take is less focused and more "Oh look, we've got Chuck Norris too!"

I'll probably go see it anyways, but I think they're going to regret taking Sly off the wheel.

I thought the first one was OK. You just have to go into this types of movie expecting a dull plot but great action scenes. Expendables 2 is going to be a fun action ride! Can't wait!

I know the first one got a lot of flak for not living up to people's expectations, but I loved it.

This teaser did exactly what a teaser trailer needs to do. A little hint of the movie, but not too much given away. Couple that with the awesomeness of the first one, plus all the new additions of iconic action stars to this one, am I am ready for more Expendables.

Also, am I crazy to think a Demolition Man sequel would be a great idea? Seriously. Stallone can still kick some ass onscreen, and Demolition Man was a really fun sorta satirical sci-fi/action* flick that could be expanded upon with a sequel.

* Demolition Man had some funny stuff like the fines for profanity, fast food wars, and Taco Bell being a gourmet restaurant and all the other silly things about that seemingly pacifist and overly PC utopian future. It kinda reminded me of some the other types of sci-fi/action flicks of that time period. The Paul Verhoeven stuff like RoboCop and Starship Troopers, and The Running Man or even Escape From New York. I love those types of action films that don't take themselves too seriously and can poke fun at our world and culture. They just don't really make those movies anymore. We could certainly use some more of that type of film these days.

I saw the first one right after I saw the new star trek. Felt great. Like watching WWE smackdown right after America's Next Top Model... Can't wait for two.

Here's the poster for the cleaned up PG-13 version--
