How much ? How much ? I'd take them from friday night to monday morning, and return them in perfect order, shining new, like... well, like stars actually :-/

..i would like to know why my dvx rattles when its turned off. i would also like to know why the vhs tapes i bought for the camera dont fit in it.

The tapes WILL fit....

Don't worry, I had this problem too. You just have to break the tape open, and feed the tape itself into the deck on the DVX. Just feed it through like film does...

How else did you think it recorded in 24p? We ALL KNOW that Video is interlaced...

aha. ! thanks for the info! im ging to try it right now. i think ill use some banana juice from the leftover smoothie i had last night to lube up the tape, and help it go go into the transport easier. then i figure if i stick a big dead bug in the viewfinder optics. it should work really good.

Banana juice works...as does the big dead bug...

Also, when doing a manual snap zoom, make sure it's set to "servo". It makes it a lot smoother...

I don't have anything in particular..just wanted to "wander among greatness".."bask in your glow", as it were! When I was a kid, I got to go backstage at a Buddy Holly concert (it's true!)..and I'm getting that same tingle, just hanging out with you guys! Oh...by the way..didn't someone mention Champagne? Funny..I don't see any!?..is this what we can expect from you "multi-star" types? FALSE PROMISES!!!
