The Dual Monitor Question

Does anyone try to spread Vegas over two monitors? If so, what's the best configuration you've come up with?

My biggest complaint about Vegas is the lack of space.

Re: The Dual Monitor Question

Yes I do 2 monitors + an external monitor for the preview, I put the sound and effects etc over on one and the timeline and media pool on the other.. I dont span the entire timeline over two monitors because the little black space inbetween the two monitors always seems to screw me up.

Re: The Dual Monitor Question

I get the idea.

Still not very elegant, is it? If only I could combine the best elements of Vegas and Edition -- then I'd be in heaven.

I dont know.. i've used it so much I have gotten pretty used to it.

Re: The Dual Monitor Question

here is the two screen setup that I use. I also use firewire out through my camcorder to an external monitor, this is just a screenshot. my second monitor is only a 17 in while my main is a 19inch hence the different screen resolutions.

Re: The Dual Monitor Question

Cool. I've been playing around and have come up with something I can live with -- I'd still like to be able to move the timeline, though.

Is there no way to put it on the bottom, or am I missing something?
