The Do's & Don't's of filming at LAX

Hey guys,

So next month I'm heading over to the west coast of the States for a couple of weeks to shoot a new time-lapse film; LA, Phoenix & Grand Canyon. As well as shooting the standard sights, I'm also keen to shoot some time-lapse of LAX without going within airport boundaries; take-offs, landings, roads etc from outside the fence.

What am I going to encounter in terms of resistance from security/LAPD, and how do I get around it? Any tips on the best places to go?
 
I would start by asking same question of the airport authority and the Police Department.

Take any advice you get from a Forum ( apart from mine here :laugh: ) with caution.


ie. only the relevant authorities are positioned to know or help.

I will guess that you will find it difficult to get to the right person if you dont have a big name to back you up. !
