I checked around this forum and I dont think the firing client sticky is going to help me. I got payed half at the shoot and im expecting the other half at delivery. It is a wedding video with no contract. I got the first half but now I am trying to find the persons address iv sent numerous emails and phone calls to no success. what should I do now or in the future?
 
Just dont deliver. Thats pretty much all you can do without a contract. Next time get it in writing. How long has it been since the wedding? They may be on a honeymoon or something...
 
its been 2 months. There nice people I really dont think theyd scam me especially because they payed half of it before I even shot. I have been in contact with them I just lost contact in the last two weeks.

Contact the venue where the wedding was held - surely they must have an address for the couple or for the person who made the booking.
 
Check the local listings for family members in the area. If you know the names of parents and grandparents, that's twelve people who should know how to get in touch with them.
 
Do they have the video you shot? If you still have their wedding video, the honey moon either went sour, or they will be back to get the video.
