the difference between these 2 ikan 8000HD monitors?

hi

i have been looking at ikan v8000hd monitors at b&h and came across these two items...

This (above) is the V8000 <U>TFT</U> HD monitor for $750...

And then this...

Is the V8000HD (no "TFT") LCD Kit for $1050.

Why is there a $300 difference? What does TFT mean? I can see adding the usual 100 for the L-series battery and charger... But 300?

I really don't know the distinction between these two items...
 
But you get a Monitor Bag and a DG-1105 Locking Accessory Arm w/Shoe Mount. That's got to be worth something right?
