Thanks Jason, when I've been slaving over odious producing duties for weeks, it's stuff like this that really gets me back in the groove.

I myself had a completely unrelated spark of inspiration (while watching it last night) for a feature length script idea a friend and I have been talking about for a few weeks now.

I had a light bulb that took me in a new direction, and for the first time, put pen to paper and hammered out the first few scenes.

Just finished it, that was worth the watch. My only issue is that I can't find anything similar on Netflix, since there doesn't appear to be a proper category for film related films.

That's awesome Jason. I've been kind of in the same mode lately where I get these random spurts of inspiration that push me into a new story. It's kind of frustrating because I'm trying to finish some other stories but I have to write it down before I forget.

I've seen the Cutting Edge a few years ago, I thought overall it was a good film.

Another good one to checkout is Visions of Light..

It's not watch instantly but it's worth checking out if you can find it anywhere. It's more on cinematography/lighting and historical cinema. There is some really beautiful footage shown.

I own a copy of it but haven't watched it in a few years. Maybe now's the time to dust it off and take another look.

The Cutting Edge is also included on the bluray of Bullitt, just thought I'd add that bit of info.
