"The Class" or "Entre les murs" tech specs

I was wondering if you guys took a look at this trailer or read about this film. This film won top honors at the last Cannes Film Festival. It was shot on HDV but much of the shots look super clean. I am wondering if you guys know which camera this was shot on and if any type of 35mm adapter was used. Also, I want to know what you guys think about the look of the film.
