The Captain Makes Major

Congratualtions. Major is quite an achivement. when do you get to be a Colonel?

This is Ground Control
to Major Mench
You've really made the grade
And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule
if you dare...

Congratulations, sir!

That is awesome. Congrats. You must be totally thrilled and thanks for sharing it with us!

PS Elvis is right...Major Mench has a fantastic ring to it!

Thanks all...

Yes - the squadron bought a DVX100b a while ago... still use my 100a here and there.

I'll get used to it.

THEN things will be back to normal. I still like the idea of using my Super Hero status on line. We'll see how that goes.

We provided $900 of beer and bar-b-q... and asked the members of the band to bake some pies.

They came thru like the troopers they are! Ended up with about 70 people coming thru the house in the end.

Big congrats! Excellent way to start off the summer. So will you upgrade your forum name and a photo with the new hardware?

Congrats on the upgrade Major. Just out of curiosity, what is the "public" classification of your job with Uncle Sam?
