The Camera That Changed the World.

After 20 minutes into this hour-long tale, I'm still unsure what the filmmaker means is the camera that changed the world. Was it the modified Auricon, the Eclaire NPR, or just the handheld camera in general?

It's told in this suspenseful way, meant to grip my attention, but for some reason it's hitting me the wrong way. Just tell me up front which camera "changed the world," and then you can go about your slow-unraveling yarn about how it all came to be.

It gets better in the second half of the documentary. If you want to know the answer to your question, watch the last 10 minutes.

Handheld/mobile in general.

Thanks. Well, anyway, I like the part in the middle where they talk about the documentary about John F. Kennedy called Primary and its style, Direct Cinema. I wish there were more of that.
There have been several documentaries on that subject, some quite good. I think I've seen the famous Primary wading through the crowd shot in at least four of them.

I thought this was a very well done piece. Of course I also know some of the parties involved so am a little partial. They certainly captured JP's mischievous spirit.
