Something I have noticed is that persons who generally are into the more avant garde cinema tend to be more aggressive in the opinions for and against these artists; instead of the usual 'Oh, you don't like James Cameron? That's cool. I really enjoyed Titanic...'

we get

Alright alright. I may be generalizing and exagerrating my point. Which is?
