"The Brooklyn Way" on FUSE

Go on then, what was it like using both of the adapters on one shoot? Also, what are the differences? In all seriousness though, is the light difference between the two very noticeable? Thanks.

Yes, it is noticeable. Takeshi uses the CF1Le. However, I'm actually used to that amount of light loss because I always use CF2Le on my brevis. So is it noticeable? yes. Is it crippling? no.

Actually, we were talking yesterday about the bokeh of the SG Pro shots. Takeshi pointed out to me what appeared to be a ghosting-like glow to the out-of-focus areas on some SG Pro shots. Wasn't on any of the Brevis-flip footage. It was most apparent on large, solid objects. Maybe if you could post a still of one of those shots, Takeshi? Would like to see what others think about it.

The Brevis flip is really impressive compared to the non-flipped Brevis. Sharp as hell. No twirling circles from lens flares. Great e2e. I have to get one soon. Compared to the flipped Brevis, I think the SG non flip holds up just as well. Its amazing how little tweaking is needed for it. On my brevis, I adjusted oscillation, backfocus, xy, diffuser... on my SG, it was seriously plug and play. And I was happy to find that I have the new SG mount with collimation adjustment. That was the only adjustment I needed to make on it. While its great that the Brevis offers all that adjustability, I would much rather not have to adjust it at all.

I think the fact that I cant even tell which shots were shot with which adapter reinforces the idea that it doesn't matter which adapter you choose. They are all reliable and capable, with subtle differences that make them unique. I'm sure I could've rented Kwan's Letus or Will's M2, and the outcome would've been the same.
