Yeah, I bought it.

Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science (plus some music CD of the films music) at Target for $34.95.

Watching 16 Candles right now and loving it! It just occured to me a greta deal of outr members either havent seen these films or the films mean nothing to them

Yep, I'm one of those members. Guess you can't have the same appreciation for Sixteen candles and the like, if you weren't a teenager during mid 80s and I wasn't even born yet, when it came out :undecided

Brat Pack.....eww.....

The Rat Pack.....The definition of cool

For those who are too young, the Rat Pack were in the 50's, and they included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford.
"The term "rat pack" was given to the group by Lauren Bacall, after seeing them return from a night of partying. Shirley MacLaine was considered an honorary member of the Rat Pack and the only female to be considered "one of the boys."

I dig the Rat Pack Pookie; I always liked Dean.

I had no idea about Shirley; and now I have new respect for her.

Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science

Those are the films of my youth.

And let's not forget Better off Dead, One Crazy Summer, St. Elmos Fire, Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful, Say Anything, etc.

Having grown up with all those films (love the early Cusak ones) it's hard for me to believe others are too young to have seen them - since I still think of myself as a kid...

I was watching Sixteen last night and just laughing my ass off; so many great moments from THE GEEK. He steals that whole movie

I think the funniest thing is how timeless I think these movies are, but to people from a generation younger than myself they belive that American Pie and She's All That are their Breakfast Club... Makes no sense to me.

I ordered this set yesterday!
