The best and the worst of 2010

Best: New gear - Canon T2i (I LOVE it!), 17-50 Tamron, camera backpack, shotgun mic, bogen tripod.

Worst: Rented a lens for a big documentary shoot that I wasn't familiar with and wish I didn't rent it.

Best was the GH1. Great little camera!
Worst was the GH1....because now I'm addicted and want the AF100!

I hear you about the Panasonic products. hidden gems. AF100 looks amazing, but hey that little GH1 rocks it out for a lot less money.

best: tie between my killer Mac Pro and the d7000.
worst: 'snap' gears from indisystem.

but i guess thousands of dollars of good and tens of dollars of bad is okay.

Best: Red Audio RV6 condenser mic.. Okay it's audio, but at 60 quid it really is ridiculously well built and sounds fantastic. If you record VOs, you should get one!
Worst: 2010 was a zero negative as far as gear goes.
