The battery is dead!

Hi There Folks,

One of my batteries for my DVX is dead. Won't give any power to the camera, I plug it in to charge all day long, and it never seems to recharge up.

I talked to place that sold it to me about warranty (is less than a year old), and they said to talk to the official Panasonic repair place.

And so the folks from the repair centre said, "We can't repair it. Talk to the people who sold it to you." (this is in Sydney, Australia)

Does any one have any advice on how to repair/recondition a battery? Or is it now just an expensive paperweight?

Sounds like it is an expensive paperweight.

Just buy a new one. Get the long life battery from here on dvxuser if you want one that will last you. The link to the battery is in my sig. It's 79 bucks I believe. Ships anywhere.

Go the DVX battery. Excellent price point and great value.
