Re: "The Aggie" Poster

I love it. Awesome.

EDIT: Ahh geez, and that one ladies and gentlemen breaks 1000.

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Bravo TC...

I love the poster...

Looks like you took some advice and filled in that white space at the top with some orange or brown blob... really does improve the look of the poster. Kudos to those who worked on it!

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Really? I think it looks all done on computer. Photoshop for sure, I'm thinkin' maybe Maya too?

Perhaps that's overkill, maybe Painter?

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Sometimes simpler is better. I don't think it would be that hard to get a marble put on a table and photograph it to get it to look good... just get a good macro and light it well and shoot it with an SLR you'll get that kind of a picture :P

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Oh absolutely, I agree that it's possible, I just think that in this particular case it's all computer generated.

...I suppose once CMessineo replies we'll know for sure!

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

the bg is a foto, the marble is a macro foto and the table are fotographic tectures comped together in Photoshop . . . . my guess . . . no 3d! ;D

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Geez, maybe I'm wrong. Oh well. If I'm right though, that's one HELL of a 3d artist.

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Thanks again, everybody.

I love the poster as well and as Barry said, now my biggest concern is that the poster is better than the movie.

As for your questions, our graphic artist is amazing. He did the whole poster with PhotoShop and 3D Studio Max, that table is his own creation.

Re: "The Aggie" Poster

Is that marble something he created? That marble is REMARKABLE!!!

I am amazed at the quality of the marble. The table looks a little more fake but the marble lends credibility to the whole image. Knowing some 3D Studio Max myself I see the amount of work done on the marble.
