Ok, it was fun, but it *could* have turned nasty had someone just at that moment walked under it,

It would have been advised to have a guy below with a walkie talkie or some communication device to give you the all clear.

and if I was you, I would put a discalimer NOW on your video saying "do not try this at home" because if some kids decide to copy you and someone gets hurt, do you thing you could live with that on your conscience?

Just my view.

Maybe I'm just getting old but I agree completely. That could have really hurt someone. You should have had a lookout below.
 
well we had a bunch of friends towards the bottom in a truck doing the lookout thing for us but we only had one camera, but we did have them make sure that no one was going to get in the way
 
In that case, thats good. I just assumed there was no look out.

I still think you should put a warning "Please do not try this at home" type disclaimer, even if just for legal reasons.

Sorry for being such a killjoy, probably being like Ned Flanders :)

Do you honestly think "don't try this at home" has ever deterred a kid from doing something stupid?

Should have another camera on the ground behind some water protection next time.
 
Next time tie a rope to your camera... make it about 10' shorter then the height of the building... and then send it off with the water bag like Slim Pickins from Dr. Strangelove.
