The 40 Year-Old Virgin

I thought this movie was funny in spots. Alot of the humor was shock value stuff and, for me, that gets old pretty quick. The lead character was funny and it did have some good scenes. I didn't like the look of this film either. It looked kind of cheap.
 
I guess I'm just way too immune to comedies now. I didn't laugh as much as everyone else. It's like I've heard and seen every humorous thing out there. :( The movie was okay...
 
lol its becuase spider is a 30 year old virgin, its creapin. lol :-p i am as well immunie but i think i will go see it. it got to be better than duece bigalow wow did that movie fall hard made top 4 then never seen again.

at least it intends to be stupid...i went in with zero expectations, so i guess it was better than expected... mucho better than expected.

that's exactly why I'm writting a comedy, for guys like you and me. I'm numb to comedies these days, I'll chuckle through a good comedy but that hard belly laugh hasn't been provoked in such a long time...... :cry: lol
 
did you see the 40 year old virgin coffee? the way it writing like dialouge is more true to how peopel talk i fine the dialouge is what made that funniest becuase i know peopel who talk like that. find something people can relate to then you have a great comdey.
 
Is it lowbrow humor? Yes! But did I love it? Yes! Actually, I thought it was really well written and acted for a dumb smutty comedy. I really appreciated the parts where they ere throwing all the racial insults, but beneath the talk, they were good buds. The stuff with the Indian guy was hilarious.
 
40 year old virgin was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. I saw it on a plane on the way to Australia. I had to kill some time. I don't think I would have watched it otherwise. I'm glad I did!
 
I want to watch this film, but I do not have time. it is sad to be good. the trailer is OK too.
 
my girlfriend saw this movie with her mom ... she said it was the most awkward experience of her life.
