A few weeks ago, I binge watched "The 100" TV series. I was initially watched the first episode to see if was of interest, and ended up watching all the episodes available on Netflix.
The show is 'packed' with all manner of references ranging from "Lord of the Flies", to "Colossus: The Forbin Project". But I did like some of the twist the many tropes.
I'll be watching the next season in more 'real time', if I can.
I've not been impressed all that much with some of the recent TV shows that I've followed in 'broadcast' TV, but it does seem that Broadcast TV is moving into more competitive programming with HBO, et al.
