That Was Weird.... I Need Help

I know I have seen someone else post the similar problem, but I can't find it.

Anyway, I was running my G5, with itunes, safari, and aim. all of a sudden Paul McCartney's voice skips and a transparent screen lowers down and says you need to restart your computer. What did I do wrong? What does that mean?

I'm really not dumb, just very confused about the situation....

Have a good day everyone,

What were you smoking and where can I get some?

Sirius is right, sounds like a virus...

Let me get this straight, did Paul McCartney tell you to restart your computer, or were you listening to Paul on itunes when the this transparant screen came down?

I hope you did not restart your computer right then, did you? Back-up your **** and run a virus scan....

Mr. McCartney was on itunes singing "band on the run" It was really odd. I called apple and he said I might have been overworking the computer. I had just finished running Roxio Toast also.

Did the message that was displayed contain many different languages or have like a restart logo behind the text? If yes, then you experienced a kernal panic. I'm not exactly sure what they are, but I have suffered them in the past and my iMac is fine.

kernal panic!!!! Kernal panic!!! OH MY GOD... say it isn't so!!!!!

How much RAM are you using? Most problems I've ever had have been RAM related... but I am talking using very intensive graphics and video apps, not the iLife stuff....

Have you tried Apple Care?

SkiUtah. You are right on the money. It has the different languages. The computer is fine now. I am in Las Vegas and I think the heat got to it, a little too much. A Dual G5 is like an electronic genie, and genies don't fail unless you rub their lamps the wrong way...

Thanks for everyones help,

-Kris

Crash

Crash

Yeah..you have had a Kernel Panic. Basically, the computer was not happy with an operation. Did you install some third party application recently? Perhaps you downloaded a plug-in or application off the web. Apple says that one or two a year is not something to worry about. If it happen alot, then you need to investigate the conflict. Best of Luck!

Lol. You're funny Sirius.

You guys... Is it just me or did this post turn into some pyschadelic episode where everyone is just plain out confused and when it all comes down to it, we are all wondering the same thing....?

Why did Paul never call John...? I mean c'mon. For the love of the music brother...

Have a good weekend fellas,

Peace, love, and yellow submarines,
