Good Times was before cable. You watched it because it was that or something worse. Same with One Day at a Time, Different Strokes, and all those other crappy series. Now there's a lot more competition. You can't turn back the clock and get rid of animals in funny hats or the Harlem Shake on youtube or Ice Road Truckers.
