That darn wind !

Hey everybody

I recently filmed a reunion which involved being outside for a small part of a concert, and being unaware that we were filming outside I didnt bother to bring anything to wrap my poor mic up in. Regardless, now small parts of the song are just wind blasts.

I know its a long shot, but there is no way to reduce these sounds in Final Cut/Soundtrack Pro is there?

I recommend doing a search on this topic. the best you might hope to achieve is eq'ing it out of that part alone,which will afect the music also taking needed frequncies out from it. so at best you'll end up with the wind not jumping out so much at you.

Have you considered cutting up the music? if there its on the chorus, or a repeated phrase, using a bit from another chorus, or phrase somewhere else in the song?

Yeah im actually slicing the song up and making a frankenstein out of it, sounds great though, just like it was supposed to. Thanks man.
