That 24p Look

I recently shot this mega action short film using 3 cameras - The Canon XL2, Panasonic DVX100 and the Sony PD-170. We shot every scene with 3 cameras taking from multiple angles simultaneously. However, the problem is that the PD170 footage looks rather different from the other two cameras. Is there any way I can achieve the same 24p 'look' through editing in order to have all the footage match up to each other and not appear too different?

Hmm I have the latest magic bullet - What exactly do I do? Wont the different tints over different kinds of footage still look different?

You'll need the Magic Bullet suite for After Effects. It converts interlaced footage to progressive footage for the film look your after. It's different from Magic Bullet editors for Premiere, which just color grades the footage.

Gah I cant run after effects on my computer - Its too slow. Any other suggestions?

Try slowing the PD-170 footage by 4% and de-interlacing. Or, in the project window, you can right click the PD-170 footage file and bring up the "Interpret Footage" window. Change the file from its current 30fps to 24fps and deinterlace.

The deinterlacing part is what I don't understand. How does one deinterlace with After Effects? I'v tried google but the links I got all assume that one knows how to do it. Everyone says "deinterlace" but how?
