Hey everyone,

Thanks to all the filmmakers who sent out their movies to the TromaDance Film Festival.
The deadlines up tomorrow but I'll take a couple late ones from DVX members only (please note that you are a DVXUser member on the package).
Go to www.tromadance.com and download the entry form and send it to:

There's NO ENTRY FEE so send your movie.

We'll be out in lovely Park City, UT and Salt Lake, UT from January 20th-30th. Come on down and crack a beer with us.

Who is this dude to write such smack in our forum? I've seen posts deleted and people banned for less than that.
 
We actually are looking for films that aren't "Tromatic" (aka boobs and blood).

I accept all genres except for romantic stinkers.

Understandable Terry... if I singled one person out but considering I'm doing it to motivate filmmakers to have their stuff screened for free on the same street as Sundance I think it should be let go, don't you?

I just started editing my new film so theres no way I can get it done in time. But I do have one film laying around... Its sooo bad though.

I'll send it anyways.
 
You guys going to announce the selections this year? Someone on another forum said that didn't happen last year. Found out they were screening as they were leaving SLC.

I've done this fest for three years but I took a hiatus last year. Believe me...a lot of stuff didn't get done.

Well...I'm back in action for my last year and I promise the program will be listed on www.tromadance.com

Do you take short films? I have a 3-minute film I just completed for a contest. If you take short films, I'd love to send it in.

Just wondered if you found anything out about when they are posting selections and the schedule? I see they pushed the deadline back (again)...

I plan on attending if I can make living there for the 10 days affordable, I will definitely be seeking you out for some beers too!:beer:

Anyone planning on attending TromaDance or helping the Troma Team make this year's fest a blast can stay with us for FREE at our Park City condo. But you have to reserve a space. Filling up quick so get in touch with Kiel at Troma (1.800.TROMA.14 x.18) for more info.

Thanks guys! TromaDance Official Selections start posting on www.tromadance.com starting Wednesday, January 4th, 2006. This will be done in three parts and then a final schedule no later than January 10th.

Thanks for all who sent in films and keep making your own damn movies!
