Text quality issue, help!

Hey guys,

I don't understand why whenever I use text in final cut pro the quality looks real grainy. When it is small and on like youtube, or vimeo it looks decent- but when its full screen it looks real bad. Any ideas???

make sure when you enlarge the text you increase the point size, not the scale. also, don't use pure white over black. go 80% white and it will be much smoother.

finally, try using boris title 3d. it comes with fcp and in my opinion produces nicer text.
