TEXT PROBLEM (please help)

Every time I render my text in FCP it always seems to get more pixelated
and looks bad. Is there anyway to have crisp looking text. I even will
import text from "LiveType" and still it has the same pixelated look


any idea ?

Are you judhing this by what yoou see in the FCP viewer or are you looking at this in the rendered Quicktime file? Also, when viewing in Quicktime Pro, make sure you have High Quality activated.

once you print it out it'll be fine.

In the viewer it always looks fuzzy.

Has to do with interlaced vs. progressive, TV vs. Computer monitor, NTSC-DV not handling sharp edges of contrast, etc.
 
Ok sorry all but I am 3rd week in FCP, had this issue yesterday, searched for answers via google (this is one thread that appeared). Anyway I read all your posts so went ahead and did my test ouput and on DVD to a 42" plasma the pixelation is worse.

Ok so the original files I am using where created in Motion then imported into my FCP sequence, all settings match up and they motn's I made look great, until I render. And it looked worse on my plasma :S

Sorry any other suggestions apart from doing every step manually via PS CE? Seems there should be a way to make this work, other wise why even have a text option that just cant be used?
