text or credit roll in video

Hello everybody!
I have a video track 2, and track 1 is in multiply /mask/ compositing mode so that to get custom letterbox on my footage. Ok, but how to put a track with text or titles on my video now? I know that it must be a track above, but there is something wrong because of multiply masked track 1 /letterboxed/. So,what have I got to do? Maybe the problem is by proper setting of compositing modes? Any help???
 
Is the problem that the titles come over the letterbox? If so, just use the Pan/Crop tool to letterbox the footage of the title.

I always apply a letterbox as the last thing I do. I'd forget about doing a Track 1 Letterbox and use PAN/CROP as jdsmith suggests.

Save Track 1 for applying titles.
