Never seen this in FCP HD, but in 5.1 some kinds of titles (lower 3rd and crawl) are making the shot under them jump to a higher magnification. It looks like you're cutting to a closer shot of the same subject. Then it jumps back to normal after the title. This happens both before and after render.
The other thing I noticed is that I can type in the text, and it looks OK, but when I start to drag it to the timeline, I see the thumbnail of "Sample text 1, Sample text 2" that's the default placeholder in FCP.
