Text as an element in browser window

Ok so I have an infomercial with a phone number, different sizes, color in certain scenes. Every few months the number changes, is there a way to have the text as an element in the browser window where any changes there automatically reflect any use in the timeline? This opposed to going in everytime to each text clip and pasting the new number each time.

Or is Motion my best bet?

Your options-

Make a Motion template. Put it in to the timeline. Every time you change it, you'll double click it, paste in the new number.

You could have the Title Generator in your Browser, but you'll still need to double click it, paste in the number, and then edit it into your timeline again.

OR you could have the Title Generator in your timeline, double click it and paste in the number.

Each way you do it, you'll be double clicking and pasting in. Motion template is overkill. Having it in your browser adds an extra, potentially messy step. What exactly don't you like about changing it from your timeline, because this is probably your best option.

You could use a .psd file, leave it on your desktop and everytime you update the .psd it should update in the timeline. However this won't help you with the color situation. You will still have to go into each clip on the timeline and change out the color or if the colors always stay the same and just the number changes. You could have multiple .psd files on your desktop that are within your project and it will work the same way.

I want to avoid having to go through the program and double click every instance the text generator has a variation of the number, and having to paste every time. It would nice to have each style of the number in your browser so you can just edit it there and it would reflect anywhere it shows up on your timeline.

The PSD sounds like a good idea but I dont think its as fast/convenient as double clicking through the timeline.
