Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life

[Batutta]

I love Badlands, but unlike most I really did not enjoy The Thin Red Line beyond the cinematography. I thought The New World had its moments and overall was a decent film with again, breathtaking cinematography. Here's the trailer for The Tree of Life, which as a trailer is pretty great and also features gorgeous cinematography. You can always count on Malick to deliver on that front, at the very least--

No idea what this one is about, other than that it's another Malick tone poem.

Malick is shooting a film on my block, and is DESTROYING parking, the ability to walk, or go to and from anywhere for 13 blocks in every direction......

I kind of hate him right now.

From what I can tell, and they seem to be underplaying the disaster angle quite a bit, it's about a man looking back on his childhood and questioning the meaning of his life in the face of an Earth ending catastrophe.
