Teradek Vidiu Firmware Fault

I recently upgraded my Teradek Vidiu with a new LTE/4G USB modem and the latest firmware. Big problems!! I can't connect to my iPhone or iPad and use the interface app. When setting the WiFi to AP, to create a network for the iPhone to use to control the Vidiu, if the USB Modem is installed and connected the WiFi will not connect as an AP.
Teradek support is aware of this and supposedly working on it. I have had several emails with their support people but nothing yet.
Anyone else have this issue?

For anyone who is interested, I have to say I am LESS than impressed with Teradek and their service. I along with many others have bad firmware that cripples the Vidiu severely and it has been a month with no fix, or serious response. I would not buy another product from these guys no matter what! Dejero, Matrox or someone else will get my business in the future. I mean why not issue a way to go back to firmware that works until they figure out what the problem is?

Yes,
My apology for the late reply. The engineers at Teradek, responded, though it took a couple months and I can happily say that my VIdiu works perfectly. Just make sure when you buy one that you do the software updates and feedback your experience to them.
If you have any other questions please pm me and I will get back to you.

I have had a Teradek Cube (HD-SDI version) since it came out, the first generation one. It has worked like a champ since I got it. Their firmware updates have got consistently better over time. They obviously have really good programmers now. Just updated my Cube a few days ago and it works perfectly.

I have had the unit since 2009-2010 and they keep adding features and functionality to it. Can't say that about many products or companies in high tech.

I know that I have had problems connecting to the unit when I have forgotten (user error) to have an open network without password protection so I can access the unit when it hasn't been setup to work on that network that has WEP enabled. There are a few common reasons people can't connect to their Cube's or Vidiu's (very similar to the Cube) and that is one of them.
