Telluride Swelluride

So, I found out about a class at my school that involves going to Telluride Film Festival, Labor day weekend in Colorado. I am pretty excited because I have never gone to an official film festival before, and this one had Walk the Line and Brokeback last year. (EDIT: Also, it's a really closeknit place, so there are huge possibilities of meeting directors and cast, because it all happens within about a block.)
I don't know what to expect! Any tips? Any past experiences at fests anyone wants to share? *Nudge, nudge* Meet anyone crazy? My teacher said he met Ebert and he was a pompous. Figures!

Got any input?

Sounds like an awsome experience! I've never been to a film festival before, it will be interesting to hear what it's like! I hear Telluride is a nice place, although a little touristy.

Yeah. I'm sure it's especially touristy when the fest is going on, but I'm quite familiar with that kind of town. I live in Solvang right now, and that's as touristy as it gets- in that cheezy European looking windmill town.
