Ok detanation Films muzzle blasts, when composited in FCP is not totally clear, cant change the alpha on it to make it clear. The borders driving me nuts. Suggestions, I know I can construct my own. But I've never attempted.

i know that the det films stuff works well with blending modes in adobe products, so you might want to try using it with After Effects instead of FCP. I forget which blending mode they liked. It was probably either Luma or Screen.

Screen, Add, or Linear Dodge (which is the same as Add, pretty much).

Im still getting a light white box around the composite in AE. Still could use some suggestions. I watched all there tutorials there pretty cut and dry Im trying to see If me laying some magic bullet under and over will help.

You and your lovely ideads milksac. Its crazy enough it just might work. It just might. I didnt get you when you first mentioned it. Thank you.

OK, i pur the plug-in the plug-in folder. Got nothin, didnt come for an application for Mac that i saw to run an install off the zip file. sounded like it was what i needed.

OK I tried opening the file for AE and couldnt get the plugin to work, And then I downloaded the FCP file and i couldnt get a program to open the .sit file to open the aplication. I feel like im walking around the answer.

What version of AE are you using? I've installed Knoll's unult on AE 7 at the studio and it works. At home I still have AE 5.5 (kill me now) and I couldn't get it to recognize the plug. Here's another plug that does the same thing as unmult.

I'm using version 6.5, but how come it still wont work with FCP? Have you ever tried to install and use it with that? I was a little pissed when i couldn't get it to work with that because i have the most up to date version. THanks again Ill try this one.
