Anyone have any input on which is the best for general purpose for both indoor and outdoor use?

Is one more inferior than the other or generally produces a color cast?

Thank you.

I am about to purchase beam splitter glass for a teleprompter and undecided which version to go for - 30R or 40R?

Anyone have any experience using both and which provides the best flexibility in all situations?

Any drawbacks if buying 40R/60T, how many stops do you lose, how does it handle night or day situations?

What would you recommend and why?

Thank you.

A stop is a 50% reduction in light. So a 60/40 is just under a stop of loss.

Im currently fiddling with a 70/30 and it seems that good shading is most important

Hi morgan, thanks for the reply.

If you had another chance to buy the glass now, would you change to the 60/40 with the experience you have now or stick with the 70/30?
