Unbelivable . . . . like they acualy sell this stuff! Jarred are you sure it wasnt on backwards ;D Thanks for the effort it has cleared a few odd balls that has!

yeah not on backwards.. definately defective I would assume, as I dont see how you can get away with selling something like that. It does however have 2 threads, like a 48mm and a 72mm, odd as hell.

I wouldn't say that. 100 Bucks for this? C'mon the manufacturer should be paying us!

got an email back from Ebay dude that I bought it from..

"I have sent the lens to panasonic and we are going to see why there is a problem.Digital Optics the manucaturer has said that they are almost sure that it is a manufacturer defect and the last batch of lenses they recieved had this defect.They said that normally the lens work well.So I told them to ship me a good lens when they get it.From here I have stopped listing the lens and advertising it.As soon as I get a good lens I will try it on the DVX1000 and f it works I will contact you. "

yes thats the one.. guy offered me a refund, but he also said he is gonna stop selling them, which as your link shows, he hasnt, so who knows.
