Telephone/Muffled Audio Effect in FCP

I'm still learning FCP, but I have a scene of a guy talking on a cellphone and then he's listening to someone from the other end. I want the offscreen voice to sound like it's coming from the other end of a phone...can this effect be done in FCP and if so how? or do i need to do something else?

****edited: nevermind, I found something in the search results****

thanx in advance

Bascially you're pulling the extreme high and low frequencies, looking for only the mid-levels.

Band Pass Filter: Frequency at 1500, Q at 1. This makes a good place to start. Although it's easier and more realistic to do some operations in SoundTrack Pro.

yea that band pass filter is what i had found after i posted this thread. i imagine soundtrack pro would make it even better but i'm still green in using anything in it. i've actually bookmarked those two links you posted in a previous thread with a coupla tutorials on soundtrack pro working with multitracks.
