Telecine super 8mm family films

Hey guys,


I have a about 9 rolls of super 8mm film that my parents left me before they passed away.
I like to get this footage into something I could edit and preserve. Do you have any recommendations for places to send the footage? Its not very many rolls and I don't need / Can't afford, anything fancy, but I like to get something that I can be happy with to the point that I don't mind getting rid of the film.


There might not be much on them, All I could make out on one was surfers from the 1960's.

This guy makes the transfer equipment that many "film chain" transfer houses use. He knows how to use it well and it's inexpensive. Remember, never get rid of the actual film even if you transfer it to HD; the film will out last most digital formats.
